Professor Julian Eugeniusz Kulski – ‘Goliat’ major protagonist of the Warsaw insurrection died yesterday at the age of 92.

Professor Julian Eugeniusz Kulski, “hero of the Warsaw Uprising, architect of the World Bank, academic lecturer and unquestionable authority of several generations of Poles, passed away yesterday” at the age of 92 years old, announced his foundation on Twitter. Today, Warsaw celebrated the 76th Anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising.

Like every year, Varsovians gathered in several parts of the capital to celebrate the heroes of the uprising. The two main points are the Rondo Dmowskiego next to the Palace of Culture and Science and the Rotunda and the Vistula.
