The Vistula River in Warsaw has fallen to a historic depth of just 4 centimeters (update on September 2nd), measured at the Warszawa-Bulwary. Storms, heavy rainfalls and even tornadoes, Warsaw and Poland experience a disturbing first part of July.

Strong winds, heavy rainfalls hit central Poland on Friday even a tornado hit the village of Ustronie Morskie in the Baltic Coast. Several holidays house were destroyed and 6 people injured. Drought – Piaseczno is the first city near Warsaw to take decisions about water use.

The city hall of Piaseczno (south of Warsaw) is the first city closed to the capital to take such a decision about drought.
