A 360° twist for the Roma Tower design!

Located at the intersection of Emilii Plater and Nowogrodzka streets, this huge investment should have been a 170 m double tower called ‘Roma Tower’ for a total space of 55000m2, 20000 m2 dedicated to office space and a six-star hotel with 200 rooms and 70 apartments (located in the upper floors of the building). The expected total costs of the project were around 650 million PLN.

In December 2020, św. Barbary Church entered the register of monuments. Owned by the Archdiocese of Warsaw, the Church, and his land is located close to the Roma Tower construction site. ROMA TOWER is a joint project of BBI Development with the Archdiocese of Warsaw and the św. Barbary in a company called PW sp. Z o.o. sp.k. owned respectively at 45/55%.

Since 2011, the project was in discussion and things were very slow.

1 – The project is located on a site owned by the Archdiocese of Warsaw next to a church

2 – Many people fought against this project

3 – Long negotiations with the city hall and administration.

The new project by studio FAMA for BBI Development shows a beautifully designed skyscraper full of architectural propositions with the parti pris of the forms and curves nuances, exclusive in the city. No technical details at this point.
