The Illmet tower (83 m) office building (also called the Mercedes tower due to its rotating Mercedes Logo on the top of the building) built in 1997 is being dismantled from inside since last summer, followed by the entire structure soon (the process will last several months) and will be replaced by a project called Warsaw One. Designed by the Danish Architect studio Schmidt Hammer Lassen for the investor Skanska, this new 188 m skyscraper will be located on the ONZ intersection. This tower of 188 m should be a little different from its original design.
