The heavy thunderstorm this morning caused several floods in Warsaw

With no comparisons with the tragedy occurring in Germany and Benelux, this morning’s thunderstorm caused flooding in the streets of the capital.
The thunderstorm lasted several hours, with impressive monsoon-like rainfall flooding several streets of Warsaw – Grójecka – Łazienkowska road – Pułkowa – Tunelowa – Dźwigowa tunnel – Rzymowskiego – Domaniewska – Polna Street- Platkowicka, Odyniec – Estrada.

The firefighter intervened hundreds of times, mainly for flooded streets, cellars or large broken tree branches.

Until July 18th, Poland is in Red Alert to meteorological phenomena.
