Krzysztof Krawczyk 1946-2021 – one of the Polish music legends passed away at 74.

Sad news on this Easter Monday, Krzysztof Krawczyk one of the greatest artists of Polish history has just died of at the age of 74.

Since Monday, March 29th, after collapsing, he was hospitalized due to coronavirus. After returning home this Saturday 3rd, he posted a message on Facebook:

“Dears! I am home! There are 2 sun rays coming into my bedroom: spring through the window and Evunia through the door. Thank you for your prayers and wishes! I wish everyone good health, let’s not give in to the virus!”

His manager, Andrzej Kosmala confirmed on Twitter

Born on September 8th, 1946 in Katowice Krzysztof Krawczyk was a Polish baritone pop singer, guitarist composer and the vocalist of a popular Polish band, Trubadurzy (“the Troubadours”) at the beginning of his career (1963 to 1973), then, he started his solo career a successful career with numerous gold and platinum records as well as numerous awards. He was co-founder of the Post-secondary School of Stage Art in Łódź. In 2000, Krzysztof Krawczyk performed for Pope John Paul II in Saint Peter’s Square in Vatican City.
