Xavier Niel, is a French billionaire entrepreneur (N°10 French fortune with 9,4 billion Euros in January 2020), owner of French giant European mobile and Internet provider Iliad (Free), co-owner of the French newspaper ‘Le Monde‘, creator of the world’s largest Startup incubator ‘Station F‘ in Paris, the Internet box triple play offer (Internet, TV and Phone) and now owner of PLAY.

After France and Italy, Iliad starts a new story in Poland after the purchase of the N°1 mobile provider of the country, PLAY, for over 3,5 billion euros (around 15 billion PLN) and 96,66% of the company. This acquisition ensures a promising opportunity to grow quickly in a constantly increasing market. PLAY represents over 30% of the whole Polish mobile market.
