The constitutional tribunal of Poland approved today a new abortion ban forbidding the abortion of a malformed fetus. Abortion will be authorized under two circumstances, if the pregnancy is due to a rape or if the mother’s life is in danger.
After approving the law, protests started in Warsaw, in other cities in Poland and also abroad with an international coverage by many media The New York Times, BBC News, Le Monde, Le Figaro, El País…
The protests started in the city center of Warsaw and reached Żoliborz just before midnight to reach Jarosław Kaczyński’s house.
