Opened in 1999, the store located in Marszałkowska Street, one of the most popular and largest stores of EMPIK will definitely close. The company just terminated the cooperation with the landlord and is looking for an alternative location. 40 other stores were closed or will close according to the same conditions following the COVID-19’s restrictions.
EMPIK is not planning to close but to open new stores in Poland, now operating 276 stores the company plans an expansion strategy with 370 stores by 2023, 5 new stores will open this year.
