CD PROJEKT just became the N°1 video game company in Europe overpassing the French “Ubisoft”. Now worth 8.13 billion $ and N°1 company on Warsaw Stock Exchange, CD PROJEKT created the video game “The Witcher” and became very popular after the release of the Series “The Witcher” on Netflix last year. This year, the company will release “Cyberpunk 2077” on September 17th.
CD PROJEKT was created in May 1994 by Marcin Iwiński and Michał Kiciński and was the first CD-ROM content company in Poland and the first creating International Hit as Planescape: Torment and Icewind Dale 1&2. In 2002, the company created a new section specialized in video games called CD PROJEKT RED STUDIO, the first creation was Wiedźmin (The Witcher) based on the Andrzej Sapkowski novel. In 2012 the company teased Cyberpunk Projekt 2077, in 2015, The Witcher III: Wild Hunt became one of the world’s best video games in the world, and 2 years later the company worth 2 billion $. At the E3 2019 the teaser of Cyberpunk 2077 is released with the presence of Kanye Reeves in the video game. In the future the company will develop The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 simultaneously.
