Stage III of “defrosting” economy will be introduced this Monday, May 18th, with strict sanitary rules – hairdressers, bars, cafés, restaurants…

This morning, Mateusz Morawiecki, the Prime Minister, announced the third stage of the lifting coronavirus bans. The new authorizations will be introduced this Monday, May 18th, and will allow hairdressers, bars, cafés, and restaurants to open with strict sanitary rules, the extension of the border control until June 12th and air traffic until June 14th minimum, new authorizations for sport, education, care, religion, and transports.

HAIRDRESSERS AND BEAUTY SALON

  • OBLIGATION TO USE ONE TOWEL PER CLIENT
  • OBLIGATION TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR ALL THE CLIENT (NO WAITING ROOM ALLOWED)
  • REMOVE COSMETICS TESTES AND REPLACE REUSABLE ACCESSORIES IF POSSIBLE
  • CLEAN AND DISINFECT TOUCH SURFACES AT THE CUSTOMER’S STAND, TOOLS, DEVICES, AND OTHER SURFACES THEY COULD TOUCH (DOOR HANDLES, HANDRAILS, SWITCHES, CHAIR BACKS…).

GASTRONOMY

  • MAXIMUM 1 PERSON PER 4M2
  • OBLIGATION TO WEAR GLOVES AND MASKS FOR CHEFS AND GATHERING STAFF (PEOPLE CAN REMOVE MASKS ONLY IF THEY ARE SITTING AT THE TABLE)
  • MINIMUM 2M BETWEEN 2 TABLES AND 1M HEIGHT SEPARATION DEVICES
  • A MINIMUM OF 1,5M BETWEEN EACH CLIENT
  • OBLIGATION TO DISINFECT TABLES AFTER EACH CLIENT AND COMMON PARTS AT LEAST EVERY 15 MINUTES (DOOR HANDLES, HANDRAILS, SWITCHES…) (EXCEPTED THE FLOOR).
  • DISINFECTANTS DEVICES AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE RESTAURANTS, IN TOILETS AND AT THE DEMAND OF THE CLIENT.

THE GOVERNMENT ENCOURAGE USING RESTAURANT GARDEN OR TERRACE FOR MORE SECURITY.

NEW AUTHORIZATIONS

EDUCATION AND CARE (From May 18, May 25 and June 1)

From May 18th, it will be possible to conduct classes in practical in post-secondary schools and in revalidation and upbringing as well as early development support and specialist revalidation. Institutions and facilities with accommodation and care and educational activities will also be opened. Youth hotels, sports centers, or community centers. From May 25th, care and educational classes in grades 1-3 of primary school, consultations with teachers in schools for high school graduates and students in 8 classes, mainly in subjects taken during exams. Consultations will be able to take place individually or in small groups and from June 1st, consultations at schools with teachers for other students in all subjects.

UNIVERSITIES (from May 25)

It will be allowed to conduct didactic classes (for final year students), and classes that cannot be implemented remotely as the education of doctoral students and classes organized in laboratories and a medical simulation center.

SPORT (from May 18)

At stadiums, sports fields, jumps, tracks, eagles, skate parks – a maximum of 14 people (+ 2 trainers) will be allowed and up to 22 people (+4 coaches) on open full-size football fields. For classes in closed facilities (sports halls and halls). 12 people + trainer (in buildings up to 300 m2), 16 people + 2 trainers (in facilities from 301 to 800 m2), 24 people + 2 trainers (in facilities from 801 to 1000 m2), 32 people + 3 trainers (in facilities over 1000 m2). In closed facilities, it will not be possible to use the cloakroom or the sanitary facility (except for the toilet). The devices should be disinfected after each class.

TRANSPORTS (from May 18)

Will be allowed, 30% of all seating, and standing positions (in this case, however, half of the seating positions should remain free).
